OVERVIEW

Merlot et Moi came to us as a well-loved wine tour business with deep roots in Saint-Émilion, but a brand that didn’t yet reflect the calibre of the experience. Founded by Kim, an English native married into a 9th-generation winemaking family and member of the prestigious Jurade, the business had all the ingredients of a compelling luxury brand'; heritage, exclusivity and personal connection, but needed a visual identity and digital presence to match.

Our brief was to build a brand from the ground up that would honour the rich winemaking heritage at the heart of the business, while positioning Merlot et Moi as a modern, refined choice for discerning travellers seeking authentic Bordeaux experiences. The challenge lay in standing apart within a competitive landscape of wine tourism, attracting a global clientele who expect a luxury standard from first impression through to the experience itself.

 
 
 
 
 

BRAND IDENTITY

We developed a complete visual identity rooted in the duality of the Merlot et Moi story, the warmth of Kim’s personal touch alongside the prestige of generations of winemaking tradition. The brand language draws on the textures and tones of the Bordeaux region, creating an identity that feels both timeless and inviting.

Every element, from the logo suite through to the brand messaging, was designed to communicate expertise and authenticity, positioning Kim not simply as a tour guide, but as a true insider to one of the world’s most celebrated wine regions.

The Squarespace website was designed as a portfolio-led experience, guiding visitors through the world of Merlot et Moi with rich imagery and considered storytelling. From the services on offer; including bespoke full and half-day wine tours, to the Saby Guest House, the site presents the full breadth of the business in a way that feels cohesive and elevated.
