FREELANCE BRAND CONTENT CREATOR
Hybrid | Nottinghamshire Studio | 1–2 Days Per Week
We’re looking for a highly creative, visually refined Brand Content Creator to help shape and elevate our digital presence.
You’ll work closely with the founders and team to bring The Brand Muse to life across digital platforms. capturing the nuance, craft, personality and process behind the studio, our services and the brands we build.
Around 60% of your focus will be The Brand Muse. The remaining 40% will support selected interior and lifestyle clients on a project or ad hoc basis.
This is a long-term freelance opportunity with scope to grow for someone who wants to help shape a brand from the inside out.
THE ROLE
You will lead content ideation and creative direction for our digital channels, particularly Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and YouTube, translating brand moments into compelling visual narratives.
You will:
Develop and pitch content concepts that humanise our studio, founders and client work
Capture behind-the-scenes moments across brand shoots, events, trade shows and studio days
Film and edit short-form, mid-form and long-form content
Support the launch of a lifestyle-led YouTube arm (and future podcast direction)
Produce mobile-first, agile content using iPhone and social-native tools
Create polished, platform-ready edits with strong pacing and atmosphere
Design supporting graphics, brochures, presentations and marketing collateral
Maintain and evolve a consistent visual language across all touchpoints
Work alongside founders and our Account Manager to support monthly strategy execution
You’ll be required in our Nottinghamshire studio twice per month, plus additional days for shoots and events (UK-based, with potential travel to Paris/France in 2026).
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Proven experience creating social-first content (portfolio required)
Strong video editing skills (essential)
Confident capturing content on-site in dynamic environments
Refined visual eye; composition, light, detail, texture
Comfortable shooting on iPhone and professional equipment
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
Confident using Premiere Pro, Final Cut or similar
Strong working knowledge of Canva aligned with premium brand aesthetics
Able to move between highly produced campaign content and authentic, immediate storytelling
Clear written communication skills
Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple projects independently
DESIRABLE but not essential
Copywriting experience
Experience in luxury/interiors/design sectors
Understanding of social trends and performance insight
Experience supporting content calendars
Basic photography and studio lighting knowledge
Adobe Lightroom skills
